For best results at move-out, we ask that you have the carpet and chimney professionally cleaned, and if necessary spot treated, deodorized and flea treated, by our approved vendor. General Repairs
Other repairs may also be needed to ensure that your home is in move-in condition and protected it from damage. Remember a house that show pride of ownership will rent faster and for more money. Putting off needed maintenance only allows more costly damage such as termite infestation and moisture damage to occur.

Maid Service
You will also need to thoroughly clean your home once it’s vacant. It very easy to miss things while enduring the stress of moving out, but remember this is the "standard for cleanliness" that we are setting for our new tenants. We strongly recommend that you have a professional cleaning service do a "MOVEOUT CLEANING". This will include windows, inside cabinets, behind appliances, etc.

Locksmith
All locks must work properly, and no double-cylinder dead bolts shall be present. It is important that all locks in the house be keyed to one key.

Insurance
You must change your current homeowners policy into a "LANDSLORD/DWELLING FIRE POLICY" with liability coverage and EXIT Realty Specialists listed on it as per our management agreement. These policy are getting increasing hard to get as "stand alone" policies, meaning the only policy you have with a company, so try your existing carrier first.
